Thailand’s gem and jewelry export value (excluding gold) of the first 9 months of 2021 stepped up 27.42 percent year-on-year. Thailand’s gem and jewelry export value (excluding gold) in the first two months of this year decreased since the global economy recovered at a slow pace. It was because many countries still struggled with Covid-19 infections. While, Thailand’s gem and jewelry import value of January to February 2021 was at USD 3,071.35 million (THB 92,774.13 million), 1.22-fold growth.

The products with growth in import value were diamond, fine jewelry, and silver.
